We are thrilled to share our very first hand-embroidery project at SUBER-Craftex — a stunning, one-of-a-kind black tuxedo suit elevated with rich gold chain-stitch embroidery on the shoulders, jacket front, cuffs, and trouser hems.
When our client approached us wanting a luxury statement suit for special occasions, we knew machine embroidery wouldn’t do justice to the vision. So we went full artisan: hand-embroidered gold motifs designed to catch light, add texture, and turn heads.
Design Highlights
Shoulder epaulettes — Intricate gold arabesque/chain patterns flowing from the lapel across the shoulders, creating a regal, military-inspired elegance with a modern twist.
Jacket front & pocket area — Bold, symmetrical gold ornamental design that starts narrow at the chest and flares into a dramatic motif near the hem — perfect balance between subtle luxury and show-stopping detail.
Cuffs & sleeve ends — Matching gold chain embroidery that continues the shoulder theme and gives the sleeves a polished, high-fashion finish.
Trouser hems — Gold detailing around the ankles — a subtle yet striking touch that makes the suit feel complete even when seated or walking.
Color story — Deep black velvet-like fabric (satin lapels + matte body) + vibrant metallic gold thread for maximum contrast and shine under lights.
Embroidery Technique
100% hand-stitched using chain stitch and couching for raised, textured effect
Premium metallic gold thread (durable, no tarnishing)
Every motif measured, sketched, and stitched directly onto the fabric by hand — no shortcuts, no machines
Total embroidery time: over 40 hours across jacket and trousers
